In order to support the global fight against COVID-19 epidemic, on April 13, 2020, CEATEC donated facemasks, hand sanitizers and other epidemic prevention supplies to the Embassies of Ecuador and Venezuela in China. Ms Tian Shihong, deputy secretary-general of CEATEC, and Ms. Lin Hai, a former Chinese diplomat in Latin America, delivered the supplies to the two embassies.

Mr. Luis Piar, third Secretary of the Embassy of Ecuador in China, on behalf of the Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude to CEATEC for its strong support and donations from Shanghai Pingjia Technology Co., Ltd. and Jiangxi Chepu Industrial Co., Ltd. He also stated that these materials will be transferred back to Ecuador in the near future for epidemic prevention.

The Minister Counselor of the Venezuelan Embassy in China Albeto Bastardo warmly greeted Ms Tian and Ms. Lin Hai, and expressed his sincere gratitude to CEATEC for the donations on behalf of Mr. Ambassador.
